Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us… Ephesians 3:20
Given the straightforward, unadorned way in which Paul makes this declaration, it’s surprising that so few of the followers of Jesus Christ seem to take it to heart. We have a power at work within us, the power of God’s indwelling Spirit, Who is able to do in and through us far more abundantly than all we could ever ask or think. This being so, why are so many of us “underachievers” for the Lord?
We are being asked to pray for these families. These solders gave their lives to defend us and our freedom so lets pray…
We are asking everyone to say a prayer for “Darkhorse” 3rd Battalion 5th Marines
And their families. They are fighting it out in Afghanistan & they have lost 9 marines in 4 days.
IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE the message spread if more could pass it on.

No Accident
by Max Lucado
It has all the ingredients of a good sermon illustration.
It’s emotional. It’s dramatic. And it’s a story that’ll break your heart.. Heaven only knows how many times preachers have used it.
There’s only one problem. It’s not accurate.
Maybe you’ve heard it.
It’s the story of an engineer who operated a drawbridge across a mighty river. With a control panel of levers and switches, he set into motion a monstrous set of gears that either lifted the bridge for the river traffic or closed it for the oncoming train. View full article »
The Question for the Canyon’s Edge
by Max Lucado
The canyon of death.
Have you been there? Have you been called to stand at the thin line that separates the living from the dead? Have you lain awake at night listening to machines pumping air in and out of your lungs? Have you watched sickness corrode and atrophy the body of a friend? Have you lingered behind at the cemetery long after the others have left, gazing in disbelief at the metal casket that contains the body that contained the soul of the one you can’t believe is gone?

The Church as been Here for two years. I remember the day that Pastor Will picked me up hitchhiking, in Prescott Valley and gave me a ride home. I think probably the most import ride of my life. It took me over a year to show up however I did. I knew I should be back in Church, however pride is a strong power and it kept me out for a long time.
December will be a year that I have been here and what a learning experience it has been. My pride is not near as strong as it was and I have been humbled in a few other places as well.
For my birthday Debbie (my now wife) excepted Jesus as her savior, not only is that a big thing however she was born a Polish Jew. We were married May 15th 2010 the day after the Jewish Independence Day and a week after her birthday. So May is going to be an important month all around.
I thank the Lord daily for Pastor and Dawn… and there are quite a few people that are very important to us in this Holy Spirit Filled, God Fearing, Jesus Loving, Bible Preaching, People moving Church. I am so thankful and blessed to be a part of a growing earth shaking Church and can not wait to see where we are going and what God has in store for us. I do hope that everyone is along for the ride.
God Bless everyone for what you do and have done. Thank you for being in our lives and thank you for celebrating today with us, Pastor we thank you so very much for not being afraid to preach what we need to hear. And Dawn thank you for supporting and standing with him.
Jym and Debbie

Just wish you to know that we all love you very much and you are prayed for daily by many…
